Hey lovely's, So I was literally about to go to sleep when it hit me—I completely forgot to write my blog. And now here I am, half-asleep, typing away while my brain throws out the most random thoughts. Like, why do I always remember important things at the worst possible time? And do penguins ever get bored of sliding on ice? Anyway, before I spiral into more late-night overthinking, let’s just get into it.
Captain America 2.0 – Am I Ready for This?!
Tomorrow is THE DAY. I’m heading to the cinema with my family and my best mate to watch the new Captain America film, and I have so many feelings about it. Like, I love Chris Evans as Cap—he’s legendary—but now it’s Anthony Mackie’s turn to take up the shield. And honestly? I don’t know what to expect.
I’ve been deep in fan theories, and every behind-the-scenes interview I can find. Some people are excited, some are nervous, and I’m just here overthinking every possibility. What if they don’t do his character justice? What if it’s the best Marvel film ever? What if I cry in the cinema (again)? Either way, I’m READY. Marvel, please don’t let me down.
Shopping Spree Madness
After the film, I’m also going shopping—which is a whole adventure on its own. Shopping is fun, but it can also be a lot for me. The bright lights, the noise, the endless choices—sensory overload is real. But I’ve got a plan: comfy shoes, a solid shopping list, and my noise-cancelling earbuds (lifesavers, honestly).
I actually love finding cool outfits and quirky accessories, especially when I get to do it with my favourite people. It’s like a mini side quest before the main event (aka Captain America time). Plus, retail therapy totally counts as self-care, right?
Survival Guide for Fellow Autistic Teens
Since I know I’m not the only one who deals with these challenges, here are a few tips that help me:
- Plan Ahead – Know where you’re going, what you need, and how long you’ll be there. Surprises = stress.
- Bring a Sensory Kit – Fidget toys, stress balls, headphones—anything that helps keep you grounded.
- Have a Buddy – A friend or family member who gets you can make all the difference.
I’m so excited for this day—new film, fun shopping trip, and making memories with my favourite people. At the end of the day, Marvel films aren’t just about superheroes. They’re about change, growth, and figuring out who you really are. And honestly? That’s pretty cool.
If you’ve already seen the new Captain America film, tell me EVERYTHING (no spoilers though, I beg). Hope you all have an amazing day, whether you’re out on your own adventure or just chilling at home. πβ¨
Remember your worth,
